Fram High Mileage Oil Filter

Hey guy’s, Cleaning out my garage and found 2 oil filters. I found a Fram HM7317 high mileage oil filter and a Purolator Classic L14610 oil filter, They fit Acura and Honda vehicles and I’m sure a few other makes and models. I have a Acura MDX I can use both oil filters, I’m curious about Fram High Mileage oil filter and thinking about using the filter…..What do you think ?

I'd use the Fram and then cut it open.

If they show no rust I’d run them. They both look good in the photos

Time release additives... and then they were gone

Use them both. I'm a bit picky with startup noise so how the adbv's work. If not, swap and toss.

I'd use the Purolator before the Fram since I'm not a fan of mystery goo being added to my engine oil. That said, it probably does next to nothing so whatever.

I used to run the fram filter on our 99 Chevy lumina never had an issue honestly
