Filter came off of my wife's 2017 Ford Explorer with the naturally aspirated 3.5 V6 with roughly 130K miles on the clock. It was in service for 210 days and 5,531 miles. I didn't bother attempting a flashlight test on it as we won't be using anymore Fram filters on her car but there were some pretty bad ruffles on one side of the leaf spring while the other side was smooth.

Off/Out-Fram FE10575 and 6 quarts of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5w-20
On/In-Microgard Select 57502 and 6 quarts of SuperTech Advanced Full Synthetic 5w-20

Pleats look squished in 2nd picture. Is that filter wire backed? Thanks

Just not impressed with what these look like for the price. I ran one on my wife’s Edge for 15k and won’t buy another.

OP I see you are at 130k, are you on the original water pump? I’m hoping to run the Edge to 150 without replacement.
