With the oil filter selection poor around here. Its mainly
the Toyota filter or the Fram. We hear the Toyota filters poorly. Would the Fram Entended Guard have any cold flow problems here in Northern PA. in the winter? In River Rats test they were one of slower flowing ones.

The Xtended Guard (XG series) has wire backed cellulose/synthetic blended media, so I'd think it would flow very well. It also has a silicon ADBV, which is good for cold weather. What weight oil are you using?

Another good choice would be the Bosch Distance Plus. Check a couple of WalMarts. They've been carrying them around here.
Fram filters are over priced. I would mail order some Pure Ones online from Advanced Auto Parts.

Thanks for all the help. I will be using the Toyota 0-20W oil.
It for a 2011 Tacoma 4x4 4 cylinder.I will look at the Bosch also.

iirc, other than actual denso filters, purolator is the other supplier
river rats test...take it for what it is. it wasn't done to standardized test methods (ie SAE)
