Please tell me the Four Seasons brand fan motor is made by a completely different manufacturer than the Continental / VDO brand.
I have a VDO fan motor on the passenger side right now and all the paint has flaked off of it leaving behind a strange orange rubber coating. The paint flaking off doesn't bother me; what bothers me is that the motor shaft has always wobbled slightly. The OEM fan motor had always turned true with no wobble. The OEM fan motor has a squeaky bearing in case you were wonder why I replaced it. An OEM fan motor is not available from GM, otherwise that's the route I would've taken.
