Yeah, I saw that on TV today and without GPS it will not be exact.

I just looked up the 4 corners on google maps, and according to them, the point is only slightly off. I wonder if google will make an adjustment soon.

I thought this was known for quite a while now? Seems like when I was there a fair while ago in my youth that someone said that the real location was over yonder a ways on the res but nobody wanted to move the monument.
Must have been a slow news day, and the four corners story rotated to the top again.

being from the Southeast, I had no idea. My wife was peeved that we didn't go to the four corners when we went to the grand canyon two years ago. I told her I didn't want to drive out that way just to stand in one spot. It seemed pointless. It's not even marked correctly. I sent her the link. Cutehumor 1 Wife 0

Isn't there some sort of statute of limitations on surveys? Like if everyone thinks the fence line is the boundary between two properties then after X years it doesn't matter what the survey actually says?

I know you guys may be kidding or exaggerating but I'd sure hate to be married to a woman that would make your life miserable for the simple fact that she isn't always right or you have to pretend to agree with her even when you know she is wrong. And I've been married 25 years!
