15400-RTA-003 ? The PLM-A02 looks to be the FRAM Xtra Guard XG7317 in the HONDA blue filter casing . How's the RTA-003 ? Found thread at Honda fit forum . May need to Zoom In to read .

Picture ( above ) of the PH7317 has black A.D.B.V instead of orange ( pictured above ) . From the video below .

The RTA-003 is in the video below .

Thinking since the HONDA PLM-A02 and FRAM XG PH7317 look to be the same , should be able to go 7,000 > 9,500 miles for about a year . Thinking beginning of this September to mid August or early September of '23 .

You will not get the RTA-003. You will receive the Fram. If you look under the RTA, you will see "replaced by [A02]" :sneaky:

If you like Mahle, get the Mahle OC707, though the aftermarket Mahle is made in Mexico and not Japan, if that matters.

Anyways . Would you use the FRAM Extra Guard PH7317 ( pictures above #9 ) for 7,000 > 9,000+ miles and a span of late August /early September to late May / early June of '23 ? This would include swings in temperatures ( condensation ) . Thinking this since HONDA allows 10,000 mile oil / filter intervals and the HONDA Genuine A02 consists of the FRAM Extra Guard PH7317 internal parts and canister .

What is an XG PH7317?

I have only seen XG7317 and PH7317, never the combo version.

Discovered this . Reassuring 😌 . His oil filter is from a '12 Civic ( 1.8 Ltr. ) , mine is for the '13 FIT ( 1.5 Ltr. ) .

Used FRAM Extra Guard PH7317 cut open :

Both look the same for canister and innards .

Used HONDA A02 exposed at 7,000 miles .

XG=Ultra oil filter. i.e, prefix before application #. XG7317 is a Fram Ultra OF. XG derived from XtraGuard which Ultra was before name change.

Extra Guard (shown) application prefix used is PH e.g., PH7317, also called an orange can.

XGPH....never heard of it.
