I was messing around in Porter Texas and stopped by the AZ on FM 1314 about 11 oclock - low and behold I got lucky. The purchase not only yielded that wonder elixer, but I also I finished out my AZ bonus card and got a $20 gift card. Is this a great country or what?!!! Also a question - is the Castrol 5w/40 worth messing with? If it's all synthetic, I'll get some for the summer, if not I'll just blow it off. The Porter AZ had plenty of it! Also the girl at the counter said that she'd see to it that the GC bin got refilled. Nice.

The 5w40 is a group III oil, not a group IV/V like true synthetics. I'd stick with the GC.

If the 5W-40 is the BC, are you sure that it is Group III? I always thought the BC was Group IV.

IT is not known exactly what the BC is, but it does seem to perform very well.

All the 5w/40 oil was domestic/imported mix; didn't even mention Belguim. I'll just stay with GC.
