I used pretty much nothing BUT SJ and SL synths in my 2001 SAAB 9-5. Still using SJ in my 02 CR-V. It, by the way, is spec'd for SH on the oil filler cap. Just use it.

I'd pour it into a fancy wine glass, slosh it around a couple times, take a nice slow sniff and then slowly pour it into the engine filler tube.
