This is what you never hear the pro EV'ers ever discuss. Just look at the enormous amount of gas taxes that are collected on a nationwide basis by states. Especially from all the progressive liberal states who are pushing EV's the most, like California.hm
politicians start talking about missing taxes, when dino fuels are gone-banned. it seems to be hug€ amount tax income lo$$.
i should gather candles, because when in near future electric gets expensive, so do not have to sit on toilet in darkness
Now eliminate all of it in their perfect little 100% EV world, where ICE ceases to exist. Their government would completely collapse within a year without replacing that funding. And the Feds would collapse the dollar trying to print enough money to make up the difference.
Where do you think they're going to look at first to replace it??..... Your "cheap to charge" EV is going to cost a fortune to keep enough juice in the battery to make it roll.... Not to mention trying to do it on a badly dilapidated, and over burdened electrical grid, that is already failing, and falling apart as we speak.
