Turbine- powered big rig.

i recall several turbine powered offerings in that 50-60s age. The little i recall reading of them in the 80s was that they were fine on the hwy but in town driveability was sorely lacking.... no direct acceleration.

Many a Ford aficionado have a preference for things nicknamed Big Red. Strange but true. Turbine almost won INDY one year before the rules killed it off.

As a lifelong Ford person, I like the Big Red Camaro a whole lot more.
