Does anyone know of what brand/type of grease Ford uses for there 4x4 Wheel Bearing grease that meets spec WSS-M1C267-A1? I ended up buying the Motorcraft part number XG-11 but it was $33 for one tube at the dealer. Just am curious what it actually is so I can find the real price and read up on what's in it.

Oh wow that is the first I have seen a grease actually stating it meets WSS-M1C267-A1. It is weird though that the dropping point is still lower. I know Ford rebrands phillips 66 products for Motorcraft oil so I was doing some research on that website and found this. https://www.phillips66lubricants.com/product/multiplex-460

It does not specifically state what the dropping point is, it just says that it is greater >500F. It states that it is a green grease as well which is what is found in the Motorcraft XG-11 Tube that I bought.

Ronex is green too according to the PDS, though you are right the Drop point is not the same as motorcraft.
I wish these standard were available for us plebs to view and see what they are actually specifying. I did find a place that would sell me a single copy of the pdf spec (3 pages) for the low price of $35.
