Ford "Engineering Mode"

Is anybody familiar with Ford's engineering mode on 99+ vehicles with digital odometer or digidash? Worked in my '12 and now in my '11 with the basic gauge cluster and digital odometer by holding down the reset button for a few seconds and then while starting. Lots of information available- some of it is very obvious like mph and rpm, coolant and trans temps but a lot of it is completely cryptic. Does anybody have a breakdown of all the information available and what it means?

It's kind of neat when you don't want to use a cheap OBD dongle + software, especially if it gives you access to so many important indicators. On older vehicles the info is a little limited.

Actually, Forscan doesn't yet have mode 6 which would give you info such as which cylinder is misfiring. You can pick up a Ford VCM tool and software for $22 from Ebay.

This is true. But for the price, its superb. The developer's really works hard on it. I got $06 Data with Obdwiz, which came with my OBDLink MX. Down in price these days, was worth every penny.
