Your F-350 has a traditional transfer case I believe, that why it uses ATF. The PTU is a totally different set up replacing the traditional transfer cases. As BDCardinal said it uses 75W-140 gear oil.

Monitored the PTU temps on the wife's '14 Ex Sport (drain plug, cooler) earlier this year. It generally mirrored the transmission and engine coolant temps quite closely. IIRC it was trans temp during warm up and engine coolant once at temp but I might be backwards. Either case, it remained very reasonable so I can't justify my BLACK ptu oil during the 10k OCI that I perform. Must just be a super high shear environment.
