Ford 8F35 transmission anyone have problems?

We have a 2017 2.3 EcoBoost Explorer. It has the 6F35 transmission. The factory recommended change is 150,000 miles . The dealer refused to to a drain and fill at 10,000 miles. I did it at 12,000 miles and the factory ATF was dark grey with lots of silver. I changed it 10,000 miles later and again 10,000 miles more later. I bought a case of Mercon LV from Rock Auto for $5/quart delivered. I'm now using Castrol TransMax that's licensed by Ford for the LV fluid, and it's full synthetic, Mercon LV is not. My last change at 27,000 miles of useage came out red with almost nothing on the magnet. Changing the ATF on this vehicle is easier than doing an oil & filter change. The tranny works fine.

small update:
The Dealership is giving both my uncle, and Lincoln Corp the Runaround.
The Dealership has not contacted Him, but the Lincoln customer care specialist he's been working with has called him 4 times.
He has called the dealership, at first they backpedaled on replacing the Transmission, maybe Rebuild it instead; then it switched to something along the lines of "that transmission might be back ordered"
which the Lincoln Rep said was very odd... there are PLENTY of 8F35's in stock.
when she's tried to contact the Dealership, they've either put her on an endless Hold, or some line about the person that's Authorized to order the Transmission wasn't there that day. on multiple days.

This used to be a highly regarded Dealership, but a few years back there was a change in management, and everything has gone down hill. Customer service into the pits, one of their best service advisors left suddenly, a year or more ago, hasn't found another job, and when asked about why he left, makes vauge comments about a severance pkg, and what basically sounds like an NDA...
who knows...

one thing to remember Audiman: over here, IF there even is a section in the manual for the dealer to stamp/fill out when they do a service...NO ONE does. Never seen it.

and when it comes to trade-in time, a binder full of Records/Receipts means nothing to a Dealer, nor Most buyers.

when My Brother bought his Neon new in 2005, he kept meticulous records. no receipts, but records of every service, and fuel purchases, ( total gallons, Price per gallon, odometer reading, MPG, etc). I kept it up when I bought the car from him, eventually transcribed it into a spreadsheet.

when I sold it, I both printed the spreadsheet, and put it in a binder, and Included the file on a flash Drive.
the Buyer, My Friends Mom, Looked at the binder, etc.
"What's all that"
ALL the Records for this car since new.
"What? Who Does that?" and throws it all straight in the bin.
Records are of immense value to me. Maybe the vast majority of the public doesn't care, but for a buyer like myself I would pay extra knowing the vehicle was meticulously maintained.

another update:
Uncle called last night, he'd gotten a call from the Lady at Lincoln Corp, checking to see if the dealer had told him that his car was ready... they hadn't.
so dad drove him over there today to pick it up.
he was all set to pay the $4k($8k to replace the transmission, Lincoln covered half of it)
as they're going over the paperwork, " It was supposed to get an oil change while it was here" oh... we don't have a record of that...we'll get it right in for that..
so while he's waiting for the oil change, he runs into the salesman he's bought 4 Lincolns from (mostly special ordered) starts going over the whole fiasco with him..."I like you as a salesman Dave, no problems with you, but after this, I'm never coming back here..."
during the oil change, they come out and tell him he's got 2 bad lugnuts, " okay, go a head and replace them, but put the bad ones in a baggie in the car, I want them.." Yessir!

They (of course) didn't replace just the 2, but all 20, to the Tune of $160. and threw all 20 of the old ones away.
(try as i may i can't get he or my dad to understand the 2 layer swollen lugnut issues across the industry... "but, why replace them all if only 2 are bad?" because the others probably aren't far behind....
...in the first month after I bought the Cmax, I read on here about the issues folks were having, and replaced all 20 of mine with 1 piece solid steel lugs. none of mine had swollen yet, but...

after he leaves the dealership, stops at our house, looks over the paperwork, notices the in/out odometer readings, in their "testing", they put over 200 mi on the car, and burned through 3/4 tank of fuel....
"see they got me again!

no they have to put miles on to test and make sure things are working like they should......"Nope! they Got me again! never going back there!"
