Fluid for steptronic auto in BMW

As I mentioned earlier, AutoGlide is GroupIII, IV, and V. Now some would consider that a full synthetic, but since it has Group III in it, I don't, and we don't misadvertise it as such.
 
You won't be seeing it until a week after Turkey Day. That's my usual winter oil change - winter tire day. Only about 3K miles on the GC sofar. Looking forward to see how it compares to the Redline used oil analysis I had ......

What happened to the Group II+ that was in the original Autoglide? When did you change the blend and move up to all group III/IV/V?
 
I can't get a straight answer anywhere on how often to do a pan drop on my 2001 VW Passat's ZF tiptronic, another "sealed" box with "lifetime" fluid. Even my local independent transmission shop wants $270 to service a ZF automatic.
