Thanks for the info pscholte. I bought three of the Fleetguard oil filters. They really cost about the same as Wix, Hastings, or other quality oil filters (at least the ones I bought cost about the same-about $5.50). I looked inside and I was impressed-it looks like they will flow oil well and the interior construction from what I can see looks better than other brands of oil filters.
I wish that Fleetguard made an air filter that would fit my car, but at their web site I could not find any information that they make an air filter that will fit.
