I'm considering the SanDisk Cruzer Micro and the SanDisk Cruzer Mini. Do any of you have experience with either of these? If so, what's your opinion?

Other than size, what are the differences?

I've had the 512gb Mini for 14 months now and I love it. Size is fine for me. I think it went for $50 or so when I got it. My brother just got an OCZ model that is aluminum, slightly smaller, and faster read/write. It runs around $65 the last I saw. If speed isn't a major factor then I recommend the Cruzer as it is still faster than many on the market. Check the read/write speeds on both. I don't know what's different between them, other than size, but I like mine.

I've had the 128MB mini for quite a while now, and it works great. (Other than I wish it could store more; maybe I'll get one of those 1GB ones.) I know for a fact that the mini doesn't block the USB port next to it when you plug it in (not sure about the micro).

GREAT looks, feel, solid aluminum case, and it's THE fastest usb drive in the market now, and I really can see it, in direct comparision with wife's Crucial usb drive. this comes with a USB extention cord, too:

it was cheaper then, but still an excellent value, I think.

Yeah, read-write performance is really the only thing separating the various flash drives. Personally, as long as it's USB2 (which they all should be by now), I don't really care much, but if you're going to use it a lot, you might want to get something that performs relatively well. I have a Sandisk myself (256 mb) and am satisfied.

First, pick the size you want. Then go out and buy the cheapest one. I've had an SD Sport 256mb for over 1 year. It works great, and is a handy little gadget. I'm sure they all work great.

I have a number of 1 gig minis. I love them... theyre especially nice because they have a big LED on the back, and can be stacked in tight USB ports.

Go with the mini, you wont regret it.
