now I'm hearing sounds that was masked by previous exhaust leaks.

There was this exhaust manifold gasket leaks that I fixed along the way when I replaced the oil pan gasket a few months ago, and all of a sudden the car becomes so quiet, and now I'm hearing little rattles, suspension bushing squeaks, transmission shift slips (minor) the first several seconds when the car first switch out of park, etc.

Then when I rotate the tires (once every several months), the tire noise are gone and I'm now able to hear some bearing whine.

Must be a placebo effect, or just the 220k miles.

Fixed a moaning wheel bearing in my Jeep XJ and now I can very clearly hear the piston slap, valve train noise, and (very small) exhaust manifold leak from the engine. I kind of preferred the moaning bearing sound, actually.

I took a class in Visual C++ in the mid 90s... went to compile, one error.

Fixed that error and it was then able to get deeper into my code, complaining about 27 more errors!!

Well that depends on whether his g/f or wife was in the vehicle with him.
