First it's oil, now it's ammo.

Don't feel bad. I have 10 ammo cans of 7.62x54R. Or 40,000 rounds, bring it zombies! I have several bricks of .22lr too. I need more .30-06, I used my last boxes sighting in and breaking my last rifle in.

Is that for a Mosin Nagant? I watched a WW2 documentary and it talked about how easy it is to zero a Mosin than it is to zero a Mauser. I was drooling over all the cherry Mosins.

Are all of those Luger rounds? I think we need to have a "post pics of your guns" thread.

There's about 2/3 9mm and the rest are 45 ACP, since I just started reloading them. Plus 8 boxes of 223 for the AR i plan on getting next year.

so,yeah, where in Hillsboro, OR do you stay at? LOL

You are perfectly normal. That is actually a small stash, but keep on working on it!

I have 5 crates of 8mm Mauser and about 10k rounds of 7.62x54r. I have two Mosins, 3 mausers, and a FN49 semi auto chambered in 8mm.

I have a decent....OK I have large cache of ammo. I do rotate through it and went I go on spurts I run a little low of some types. I do keep up on the .22LR, 9mm, .45ACP, .223, .410, .44 Mag, most 12 shot sizes. I'm quite low on .40S&W and 7.62x39 right now. A little low on .308, .357 Mag and .357 Sig, .38 special, 12 ga Buck. Some decent deals right now. Sportsman Guide - free shipping. Natchex has some good prices for once.

I ammo stash has been running dry in the last few months. Need to stock up before the prices take another jump. Hate being under a 1000 for each caliber.

Just fixed part of that problem. Sportsmansguide.com is offering free shipping on $99 orders so I got 500rds of Silver Bear 9x18 and 3 different 50rd boxes of .380acp. If only 9x19 was cheaper than walmart online I would have stocked that up too. Thank goodness for walmarts very good ammo prices for SOME calibers.

Where's the stash--all I see is a decent amount for a day at the range. Ok, just kidding. It does pile up after a while. My rifle cabinet (cheapo Stack-On) is starting to overflow with ammo. Given how 22 jumps around in price, it's hard not to pick up a box (or brick) every time one goes into a store.

Looks good! You can never have too much ammo on hand, when the country goes down the toilet, ammo will be like gold. I keep a stash myself, over 2000 9mm's, 1700 .40s&w, about 900 .45acp. Haven't counted the rifle ammo but there is a bunch! Also have about 6000 22lr and 1000 22mag. Shotgun ammo is around 500 or so between 12 and 20 gauge. Lots of buckshot in there. Pretty much all I have is from great sales.

Exactly! Whenever there is a sale on bullets its always important to stock up just like we all do oil here. Its better than going to walmart when you need more to shoot that day and they dont have what your looking for like usual.

The last two weeks I've hit some GREAT ammo prices Online with Sportsman guide, and I got a $250 Cabela's gift card. Woowho!! Got a BUNCH of .38 special. And better locally: Then the gun show on Saturday we have two local ammo companies competing (Washougal River Cartridge Company and Skagit Shooting Sports) with a huge distributor - man it makes it better for the little guy. These guys have unbeatable 9mm and 45ACP and .223 plinking ammo prices. Also at the gun show was a guy who just wanted to be done that day. Sell all his stuff and be gone. I bought his boxes of .44 Special - $15 EACH!! (for 50). Plus he has some Corbon +P .380 cheap and really interesting 1960's military surplus .38 Special for $10 each. SCORE!!!
