I think I have narrowed my search for a tire down to either the Firestone Destination LE or the Yokohama H/T-S. Any thoughts on which would be best? I can get both at the same price.

They will go on a truck that will tow a 3,000lb GTW(fully loaded)often. The truck is a 00 Silverado 1500 reg cab long bed.

The truck will see low mileage and will be mostly city driving.

Thanks,
Ken

not to skew your choies, but wrangler HT tires seem to be used a lot aroundhere for applications similar to what you explain.

Does not come in 255/70/16

Thanks,

245/75R16 is a very popular alternative to broaden tire selection. I did on my old F150 and noticed no ill effects.
