Filter size matter?

I noticed the Wix and Fram version's of a Purolator are smaller in size. Does size matter? Wix is supposed to be a much better filter. I have noticed Purolator's filters generally run a little larger in size.

I've used Wix filters and the Pure One filters. I liked the Pure One filters better, except that vomit color they paint them. I personally like to go with the bigger filter when ever its possible.

Doesn't matter with normal OCIs. When you start stretching out your OCI then it begins to matter more.

I like to stick with the larger filtes,more media(usally)for ease of flow thru on cold/morning starts,and for extended OCI it's always a win,win.
