FiendOil ok for firearms?

I remember seeing this in old magazine ads, as a product for cleaning & as a gun lube.

Is it still any good? They seem to promote is as used for RC hobby enthusiasts now:

As a practical matter any thin oil is fine. Don't expect a CLP to do any more than merely lubricate.

Rem oil works for me.
