Looks like since the Renault Nissan Mitsu Alliance didn't bite at an FCA merger earlier in the year, they (FCA) may have moved on to a new potential partner. No idea, what it will mean for either company. It should improve that 'economies of scale' thing for both, but who knows.
 
It's hard to say at this point. Neither company is swimming in money. I suspect this is just a prelude to both being swallowed up by a another company. While there is too much capacity in the automotive industry, consolidation is not the entire answer either. Some companies just have to disappear.

Technology moves fast, and it's already here. 1/1/2030 is going to look very different than 11/1/2019.


I thought the world is supposed to end before 2030 due to CO2 emissions? I heard that said on the news. So, EV's are actually Too Little Too Late, yes?
