Hi ladies and gents, I've long wondered how good this stuff is... I used to use it back 15+ years ago in the flathead Briggs and Stratton engines when I raced karts and now fast forward to current and I've found the same oils in the parts trailer at the local track where my son races karts.

They smell unusually good, almost "fruity" and always seemed to protect these small, high RPM tiller engines well. Anyone ever used or tested this brand? I'd love to know if they use any PAO or other high end syn oils and what the additive package looks like.

I've used AMSOIL 4 stroke oils in these karts and not seeing much that I like when its tear down time. We currently run the 196cc Honda clone engine. It spends its life at 6000rpm+ so oil is a major factor in their longevity.

I always used Lightning Modified in my Limited flathead. I twisted it anywhere from 9200 to 10,200 every lap and we never had any oil related problems. We changed the oil (12 ounces) every time we came off the track.
