You see what I did there. Strong feet will help but it's also a feat of mind, strength, and endurance. Jordan Mulligan, one of the Mulligan Brothers you may have come across on YouTube, has been preparing for what's billed as The Word's Heaviest Marathon. At the time of their infant son's death, Jordan and his wife were struggling and could not afford a proper headstone for their son's grave. Headstones for babies are more costly than those for adults and that's why the Mulligans started a charity that benefits parents who lost an infant.

On Monday the 15th, Jordan Mulligan will carry a backpack with a 100 kg/220 lbs stone for 26.2 miles in under 24 hours.

Tuesday: 16th and each of the following 9 days
Jordan will carry a 30 kg/66 lbs stone in his backpack from the Scottish highlands to Nottingham where the stone will be placed on the Mulligan’s infant son's grave.

Anybody who's been in the military knows how heavy a 50 -60 lbs backpack gets. A 220 lbs backpack over 26 miles is nuts. Will Jordan make it?
