Does anyone have any papers or studies that might describe effects of adding FAME or FAEE to gasoline?
Typically these come from unsaturated feedstock fats, with the majority high in alkyl length (18+).
What about FAME or FAEE derived from saturated, short-chain triglycerides or medium-chain triglycerides?
Differential effects on port injector cleaning/ direct injector cleaning/ piston cleanliness--things of this nature.

Never heard of it, but IF I was guessing, I'd suppose it would be to lubricate the injector pintols. Doubt it would have an impact on the entire ring pack, but MIGHT lube the compression ring a little bit.
