My "New to Me" 2017 Camaro 2LT had seem some pretty rough (Ab)use from the previous owner. One of the 'victims' of the suspected abuse were the stock (plastic) shifter bushings. They were totally destroyed and made shifting hit and miss, very sloppy, hard to find the gears, etc.
The guys at Full Metal Bushings, makes drop-in (almost) milled aluminum bushings - the original design - like I received, need a small section lightly sanded down to fit a hump in the shifter linkage (less that 15 seconds to sand both bushings), but then they fit perfectly.
Here is a quick (6 min 30 sec) video I made during the installation and a few close-up, labeled pics of before the upgrade and after.
