Factory Ford F-150 filter C&P

This is off of a 2019 F-150 with 1935 miles on it. It was in service for one year and the iolm was at 5%. The engine is a 5.0 and was about 2 qts low when it came in. Pretty crappy looking filter in my opinion and no silicone adbv either.

That’s the original factory filter. How did the OLM get to 5% with 1950miles on it. The spec replacement FL500s filter seems better constructed with silicone ADBV.

The Ford iOLM will count down even while the vehicle sits based on a 1 year OCI regardless of mileage. It will count down from 100% to 0% even if the vehicle is never driven.

This vehicle has been in service for 12 months. It idles a lot. Very low speed and mileage for its intended purpose.

Exactly right ! my mustang sat for almost seven months , went from around 89 % to 30 something %

No. I’m finishing up a drum of Chevron Supreme from my last order. Haven’t tapped the new Schaeffer drum yet.

The can was a touch longer than a Wix.
