Was given opinion that it could be a 5W30. Wouldnt a 5W20 be too thin for an 'running-in' engine?

With a 100C vis of 7.5, there is no way this is a 5w30.

Toyota is putting 5w20 in most of their engines at the factory now, and it looks like that's what yours got.

AFAIK, no manufacturer specs different weight oils for "running-in" (i.e., "break-in") versus the post running-in period.

Yes, agree that the moly is WOW!!!!!

High Calcium Good Boron and Mega dose of Moly.. VI of 190! I hope they are using this in all new engines!

I should probably also mention that during the period, it was lots of gently city driving. However, towards the end, there was indeed a number of times when the gas was stepped on hard.
