f250 did brakes at 99,759 miles

Just under 125K and these pads are gone. I heard the rotor grinding yesterday and took a look. Pads are gone. Not happy with these at all.

I have to ask - you got 100k miles of what you label as pretty severe use out of the OEM pads/rotors, but you chose not to replace with the same. You are surprised you didn't get the same from some aftermarket pads/rotors.

Trust me, I understand the thought of using what looks the same. I'm using Powerstop OE pads/rotors on my 2015 Lexus RX350 and so far, they are doing fine. But on my Tundra and LX570, I use Toyota OEM parts, especially brakes. Time will tell if I go with the Powerstop on the RX again. It's a different animal than the truck-based vehicles.
