That's something, at least.

Bernie does need to ensure that the broadcasters in countries provide HD streaming, or he needs to do it himself. It happens for certain stuff, with certain channels, already. For example, with the Canadian setup, TSN is the broadcaster for F1. I understand they don't want me canceling cable so I can stream from somewhere else illegally, or even stream legally from a premium site. That is, usually, how these rights are enforced. But, to the legitimate TSN subscribers, there's nothing wrong with having an HD streaming option for stuff before and after the qualifying session itself, or the other non-televised practices.

Or, have an F1 premium service itself, i.e. Bernie-Vision, with that matter as part of the agreement with individual country's rights holders. It worked for Le Mans this year.

It looks like the in-car was non HD but the the Sky announcing team and everything else was indeed HD. I couldn't make the screen go large from it though a button is provided for doing that. I will be trying this source again tomorrow. I couldn't make the VIP league Swedish site to work this time around. I have installed a Malwarebytes premium program on top of my usual antivirus as well as Adblock Plus and not allowed third party cookies so I may be too "safe" for some of these sites to work now.

That could be. Some of these sites have sketchy reputations at best, if only due to them sometimes working and other times not. This issue is going to be a thorn in my side until they actually make a proper, multi-platform, official, premium streaming site. I'm already dreading the race, since I know the first round of pitstops will mean the first round of commercials, and a pitstop screwup is vitally important to what the result can be.
