That's something, at least.
Bernie does need to ensure that the broadcasters in countries provide HD streaming, or he needs to do it himself. It happens for certain stuff, with certain channels, already. For example, with the Canadian setup, TSN is the broadcaster for F1. I understand they don't want me canceling cable so I can stream from somewhere else illegally, or even stream legally from a premium site. That is, usually, how these rights are enforced. But, to the legitimate TSN subscribers, there's nothing wrong with having an HD streaming option for stuff before and after the qualifying session itself, or the other non-televised practices.
Or, have an F1 premium service itself, i.e. Bernie-Vision, with that matter as part of the agreement with individual country's rights holders. It worked for Le Mans this year.
