Exciting quali! Looking forward to a good race tomorrow. I believe the top 9, Hamilton to Magnussen, were ~.5s apart!

That was an awesome race, but I got extremely frustrated because it went over the allotted time on my DVR, so I missed the last two laps.

Hamilton did a great job to run 13 laps and build a big lead on the super soft tires late in the race. Then when he came out on fresh softs, Vettel had nothing for him.

Hamilton looks more confident after his victory in Monza. Rosberg looked defeated on the podium there after having made mistakes that cost him the victory. Hamilton had to overcome problems that Rosberg didn't have earlier in the season. Now the mental battle between the two seems to have swayed to Hamilton. But after the electronics failure that Rosberg had in Singapore, he may come back with something to prove in Japan.

Another great race and another demonstration of Alonso's ability to take a marginal car and put it in the pack of front runners. With every race my respect for his driving abilities grows.

The in car of how close he was coming to some of the walls, had me thinking we was going to wreck eventually... Too bad he couldn't get closer to the red bulls at the end, but it was still a great drive to get the Ferrari behind them at all.

That's why anytime I set up my DVR to record F1 (or any live sporting event) I set it up to tape an extra 3 hours on top of the allotted time. That way it never cuts short on me (unless it's a 19 inning baseball game!)
