I went to our local AZ and browsed their 0W-30 Castrol selection. My heart actually skipped a beat and I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I checked the date codes. I found 5 qts of "M04280" and 1 qt of "M04097". If I am reading the dates right, the Elves has blessed me with 6 qts of GREEN!
I had them check stock and man, I really got excited when they said that they were showing 6 more qts on hand. Unfortunately, these carry the "M06230" code which is Gold. But hey! It's all still GC! I bought those too.
There were two other qts on the shelf that were the square shaped bottles (as opposed to the kind of rectangular ones now). Their date code was "M0528". One was cracked (with my help a little) and it was Gold. I have seen two things now about that, one being "M0510" and before is Green and one with before "M0528". This was definitely Gold.
