Enjoy the Cold Weather Performance!

I had a great time driving home on a mostly empty highway last Monday during the snow storm. I was able to hit 10#+ boost from a crawl and still pull hard! Gotta love Subies with dedicated (Blizzak WS-80) snow tires.

I tested traction often, especially well before passing those doing substantially lower speeds, and brake checked up to the point of, but just before ABS engagement while I was alone to check traction; that and full boosting from a crawl.

Woohoo!

Yea I've noticed nothing in the Tacoma, other than less fuel mileage. Same thing with the Camry, no performance gain. Still as fast as a snail with a hard on...

Similar with my N/A Legacy, except I do feel that it’s peppier when warmed up in the cold, cold weather.

With my new 11-mile one-way commute I’m down 3 MPG or so over summer time. When my commute was longer the difference was less, especially because my previous commute was all local roads. The low speeds netted some pretty good MPGs overall.
