Does anyone know if a 2008 Ford 4.2 liter V-6 engine is easy or tough on oil?

thanks! Trying to decide if a good Dino will be ok for 3000 mile oci's.
the 12 OHV's 4.2V6 is easy on oil. I would get Motorcraft Blend at Walmart for $11.50 and Motorcraft filters for $3.50 and use them for your reccommended manual OCIs. This engine & oil/filter combo could easily do you 5000mile OCIs for only $15!

Your motor is easy on oil.
Dino oil will go past 3000 miles. But if 3000 miles is your comfort zone, stick with it.

Better deal is Peak oil + Proline filter for tax and stamp only. Peak oil can easily go the distance of 3k OCI.
