Engine MUCH Better with 10-40?

In my opinion there isn't THAT much of a difference between a 5w30 and a 10w40... They are both slippery oil. I dare you to open a quart of each and compare in a glass. I'll hand it to cousincletus - I like thicker because engine is quieter and smoother with no loss of MPG or beehind dyno acceleration...
If anything - hats off to Accord2005NJ for doing what most people wouldn't do - put heavier oil in a 5w20 car when most people are putting ligher oil in their big engines...
