Right, that isn't anything like a specification. Your Toyota likely specifies an API licensed oil which is agnostic to a brand or grade.

As mentioned already, you are thinking of grades and not specs.

Actually, 0w20 is the mainstream grade in Japan as are 0w16 and the newer 0w8.
