There are big changes afoot at Dodge, which faces a busy next two years phasing in a new EV, a plug-in hybrid, and an all-new model.

So they are phasing this out for a EV? I see no demand for EV's for anyone who lives outside of cities.

Get a EV to get 600 miles on a charge, now your talking. Even this new HD "truck" hummer only gets 300 miles....unloaded.
EV's will never beat gas on a "road trip" for quite some time.

I missed that ICE engagement.

I've never been in a Tesla, but if the motors made some sort of hum or whine (like a supercharger) that increased with the speed, I could see the engagement returning.
