Just curious if anyone has a recommendation for a reasonably priced one of these. I recently bought a ~$9 one the amazon machine, but I can't get it to work quite right with the CVTz50 app for my Nissans. It will work fine with the $5 TorquePro app. After some research, it seems you need a dongle with 'better' specs for the CVTz50 app.

The reason I got one in the first place was I wanted to see if I could see engine oil temp and ATF temp on my 2022 Nissan Frontier. I can't get anything to work with the CVTz50 app, TorquePro shows you a bunch of stuff, but not engine oil /ATF temp.

I bought one '17 but it's ideally for Ford and FORScan plus it has a USB connector. It's made by a company called "OHP" and they're supposed to be pretty reputable. This is the one I bought (maybe it's a newer revision by now) - https://smile.amazon.com/OHP-ELMconfig-Adapter-Compatible-Diagnostics/dp/B01F0GVBWY. Doesn't look like they offer a Bluetooth version though.

They (the FORScan developers) highly recommend the same one michaelluscher listed but ouch, that's expensive ! Here's another one they recommend that quite a bit less - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08FSNVZVK.
