EcoPlus OBD II remapper

Anyone heard of this "chip tuning box" to improve fuel economy? Does it hurt drivability or make the engine run rougher? I'm considering it.

sounds like a complete scammy pile of cat p#ss. I must have not been fully awake when I ran across it.

Some people will buy something that claims to improve fuel economy and the second they add the gizmo, they drive like there is an egg between their foot and the gas pedal and/or drive at or below the speed limit and falsely accredit the new gizmo they installed.

There are legitimate tuner boxes that do that. It's what vw was kind of doing. Tuning their engines to be more efficient but at the cost of emissions but be goodie four tires once they're getting emissions tested.
