I tried to test your theory by holding "EBAY" up to a mirror.

Nothing showed in the mirror, EBAY isn't Al-Quaeda backwards, it's a vampire.

As far as hot items go, TWO sets of Audi A4 B6 headlamps were offered by a guy with zero previous transactions. These are frequently stolen with massive damage to the car. When I enquired the source for the lights, the seller replied, "found them on the side of the road with some other rubbish". Asking price, $200 each.


Also, on a Honda Civic site, full instructions were given on how to mod the A4 lights into a Civic. Classifieds there offered several sets for sale.

I know of a few dudes who buy wrecked vehicles and part them out in their garage to sell the parts locally and on eBay.

From experience they know which vehicles are in demand. Obviously, Yugo parts won't sell as well as parts for more desirable cars/trucks.
