I'm looking at getting windows tinted and want to know where around the Raleigh, Wilmington or Fayetteville area would be a good place with quality materials and good warranty.

Thanks

Suggest you also check on state laws regarding tinting BEFORE getting the work done...many states prohibit certain levels of tinting and have stiff fines.

I've found that most cops don't care. I've never had legal tint, only been stopped once in the last 7 years. Told them I bought the car with it on there and was on my merry way

That was Ohio though, not sure how strict they are in NC.

Just as an FYI - I've personally witnessed 2 vehicles stopped with excess custom tinting on the side (and rear) windows.

One was in-state and the other out-of-state. Both drivers got tickets.

My tint is legal, but some shops here will charge you extra to " check it " on an inspection. I don't go to those places any more.

It's NC law. If you have tint, the inspection costs more.

I can't make a recommendation except to say try a high-end dealer. They usually use high-quality film and offer a lifetime warranty.

35% is the legal limit here on all windows. Plus on front down to the AS1 line. I already checked into it. 35% isn't much but better than nothing, especially with a black interior.

Not every place charges extra, some can. A place near me does not, but i always roll my windows down before rolling in.

I have some heat and uv blocking tint installed by dedona, on the elantra. It was expensive but i'm happy it is legal and keeps the car much cooler and the leather in better shape.
