EAO34. Fiesta ST with turbo upgrade. 4200 miles. HPL p+ 5w30

Car has 162k miles and first time using HPL. Also the first time I’ve ever cut a filter open. I’ve used Amsoil signature for most of this cars life and I was curious if it was going to clean anything out. And boy was I surprised. Hpl no VII 5w30 and a Fram endurance went on

I knicked the adbv trying to get the baseplate off by the way. It was fine otherwise

Mostly bubbles. Carbon was coming out of the filter when I was draining it. I’ve never seen that before. And there is tons of carbon in the pleats. I’m going to inspect it more here in a bit

Usually between 4-5k miles. Whenever it started smelling like fuel I’d change it
