Has anyone noticed that the E10 fuels have a "fruity" alcohol smell to them?? Maybe it's just me but today I had to get some gas for the mowers and to my surprise it had a REAL gas smell. I mean the "sniff me one more time and you'll be high" gas smell. No other gas around here has had that particular odor in YEARS.

I've noticed "straight" gas does have more of a smell than E10. I can sorta smell the E10, but the vapors coming out of the tank with presumably straight gas will bowl you over. I noticed the difference between the Valero on Niagara Falls Blvd north of I-290 in Amherst, and every other station in the area. It was the same smell as in South Carolina when I filled up at a few "straight" gas stations when I lived down there.
I don't know what your talking about..
Smells like rum to me, exhaust to bar fly breath.
