Interestingly enough, Slick 50 is actually a SOPUS product. It kind of makes it laughable when the Shell, Pennzoil and Quaker State brands of SOPUS then advise that such additives shouldn't be used with their oils. The term "talking out of both sides of your mouth" has never fit better...
 
The elusive and much hailed Krytox products (good for everything) contains PTFE (Teflon) including their oils. There is something to Teflon beyond "baking it on."

Gore-tex fabric is PTFE based, that's why its properties never wash/wear out
