I had the BMW 1250 GSA for 2 years and put 15,000 miles on it. My ass and lower back wasn’t meant for long touring. I traded it in for an Aprilia Tuareg 660. The GSA was my daily commuter and I wanted something lighter for that purpose. I test rode the Tuareg and Moto Guzzi V85TT back to back and the Tuareg was the instant winner. The transmission was so much smoother than the V85TT. It was also more nibble.

I had them install heated grips, Quick shifter, center stand, low comfort seat. They had to order the center stand. I bought the Givi rear rack, plate and 46L top case.

Good call on the center stand!
It'll make fluid changes and chain maintenance a breeze!

I don't think I'll ever own another bike without one.
It was the first mod I did on my Honda when I purchased it last December.

I didn't know we could say ass on here! Sweet
Like on the BMW forum 25 years ago. You couldn't say "girl" or "female" because the servers couldn't handle it. Also, if a female joined, servers blew up as they couldn't handle her friend requests. I'd like to think this is a more mature crowd :giggle:

The Italians had to make it difficult to remove the wheels. You need a 17mm hex head for the front axle and a 26mm socket for the rear axle. Most bikes use a 27mm rear axle nut. I guess I will be added two more sockets to my tool chest.

Italian mode of street riding is "It doesn't matter what'za behind you"

The above bike is for youthfull folks that really enjoy high speed for red light to redlight bragging rights...My grandkids love them, me ,my back and forearms self destruct now easily ......but there is something for all of us....I prefer crusing through the country and winding mountain roads.............
