I had the NAG1 in my 07. If you think it shifts fast and smooth, wait until you drive one with this new ZF 8-speed.

Note that the SRT8 is a slightly altered version with different friction discs and altered programming. It also has more bolts on the output shaft (4 versus 3) for a bit more torque capacity.

All you need is a canned tune from Diablo and it's a different car!

BTW, I'm waiting for the 8 speed with bated breath in the V8 Hemis.

If I want to mash the go pedal and move, I can do it in an appliance. if I want to burn dollars, I can do it other ways than these dual clutch jobs.

Just give me the simple, proven, lighter, cheaper MT in a nice car like the SRT8!!!!!!

Both the ZF 8 speed and the NAG1 are conventional automatics, albeit sophisticated at the price point.
