Driving longer than a year on same oil

Eddie, after driving for about a month (somewhere between 500 and 1,000 miles) on the 50-50 mix of T-IV and synthetic Mobil 1 ATF, I did a flush 2 years ago to get all the M1 out, but I flushed with just 12 or 13 quarts of T-IV. I think I should possibly have flushed with maybe 3 more quarts. So I think for the past 2 years, I've been driving around with somewhere between 2 to 7 percent of the Mobil 1 ATF still in the transmission (so only 93 to 98 percent was T-IV).

Do you think any permanent damage may have been done to my '06 Camry's transmission with the 93% - 7% mix ? -- or maybe it was a 98% - 2% mix, I hope).

Anyway, whatever my resulting mix was after the 12-quart flush (93% - 7% // or 98% - 2%), it's even less than that now, because I did an ATF drain-and-fill earlier earlier this week.

Still makes me uneasy thinking I might have anywhere from 1 percent to 3 1/2 percent of synthetic Mobil 1 ATF in my tranz. Does anyone think that can deteriorate the T-IV in there, or make the T-IV less efficient at shifting the tranz?

I've run conventional oil for two years / 5K.
No issues

Run your vehicle to normal operating temps regularly and your oil should be fine - provided no contamination like fuel or coolant exists / builds up.

My son put 1400 miles on a 96 Accord in 1 year. I run 5w30 in it...not Amsoil or M1. Oil level is fine after 1 year...

Change oil interval? Change filter interval??

Right now Im on month 10 of my current fill in my del sol and I have barely over 4k on it. With ZERO city driving or short trips. I refuse to use this car for that. Anyway 4k would be close to dumping time with dino but Ive got PU in that sump. I planned on doing a 7.5k but since that wont happen Ill just hold off until after the winter and Ill still not be at the 7.5k I want. By that time the oil will be 17 months in the sump and Im not worried about it one bit. Im sure my Purolator Pureone with a filtermag are holding up just dandy.

I do the same with a collector car.No probs. John--Las Vegas
