Donaldson P551018 of my 6.7L Cummins Ram 2500.

10,223 miles on the filter running 5w40 Rotella T6.

Donaldson synthetic media, 15 micron @ 99%, this filter is one step below the DBL Blue series. A few bucks cheaper as well. It does have wire backed media as I sniped a small piece to verify.

Another Donaldson P551018 went back on with a gallon of 5w40 Rotella T6 and two gallons of Blaine's F&F synthetic oil.

Would be neat to see how much media it trapped in between the pleats. Is it just poly (Plastic) reinforced (not metal backed)?

Thanks for that info. I need to see if Donaldson offers a wire backed filter for my 6.0L. Your can looks pretty clean.

That is the cleanest used diesel oil I’ve ever seen. Did your truck have some parts fall off.
