Noticed my 545 Mark II has a walbro carb with autotune, and the IPL indicated it has a factory installed spiral diaphram. This is a really good thing as it will not harden with ethanol, and all the additives that are in ethanol.
Conversely my 555 has what appears to be a Zama carb, and the IPL indicates it has a traditional diaphram. Does anyone know if Zama offers a spiral version or would this be a patent issue with walbro?
On edit: I will be paying more attention to my equipment (lots of two stroke stuff) and slowly upgrade to spiral if it is available.
